Hand Operated Impulse Sealers

These hand-operated impulse sealers leave a single sturdy, thin line seal in seconds. Begin sealing right away, with no warm up time needed. Low heat seals polypropylene compounds without melting or scorching. Not suitable for thicker materials or pouches; for those you will need a direct heat sealer (either foot operated or a band sealer).

Easy to Operate: Set the timer. Insert the bag between the two sealing bars and press down on the sealing arm. Hold down the sealing arm for an additional 2-3 seconds after the timer light goes off to set the seal.

2 mm seal width options are ETL listed. 

Replacement wire kits include: (2) heating elements, (2) PTFE adhesives, and (2) PTFE covers or (1) 1ft. long PTFE cover.  Kits for sealers with sliding cutters include (1) blade. Purchasing a maintenance kit is the most economical way to replace your worn out parts and avoid down time.

Most sealer issues result from lack of maintenance.  After using a sealer, expect the heating element to break.  The number of seals will vary on the timer setting.  The sealer's PTFE adhesive serves as a barrier between the heating element and the the sealer's body.  When the heating element has burned through the bottom PTFE adhesive and arced on the sealer's body, the element will break.  This can also result in damage to a sealer's timer.

When replacing the heating element, you MUST also replace the bottom PTFE adhesive.  When a user does not do this, the heating element will break earlier than usual.
